Question regarding Neuspeed X-brace install

I just received my Neuspeed X-brace and was looking over the install procedures and comparing them to Grey's Tanabe DIY.

The Neuspeed install says to support the subframe with a jack before loosening the bolts. But they seem like the exact same bolts at the Tanabe one. I was just wondering if the support was necessary or more of a precautionary procedure.

Anyone who's installed the x-brace care to comment on the ease/difficulties with the install and anything I should watch out for?

Thanks in advance!

I didn't support anything and it went right in. I did one side at a time and that is probably why. There are only 4 bolts. 2 on the controls arms and 2 on the sub frame.

Helps with understeer a little. I am taking mine off soon because it isn't legal in STS (autox).

make sure you place a jack under your rotor because
its very heavy and frustrating to align the holes to place
the bolt back in

also...if your car is low and does not have aftermarket shox
it is likely that you will bottom out on the X-brace which
bends the metal and makes it difficult to take off in the future
