Tien SS noise - hiccup sound
Is it normal for the shock to make this sound ?
I know it is not coming from the bolts or springs, this sound only happens when there is a small to med. hump in the road, which quite difficult to slow down for even if you are doing the speed limit. It can also be hard to avoid as sometimes they span the length of the lane.
So whenever the travel over these humps the shock makes that sound.
As mentioned before it only makes this sound when travelling over these humps.

my front has been making some noise in the front right but i think i may have taken care of it.
heres what you do- spray WD40 inside your wheel well on the suspension itself. BAM, Fixed, worked twice now (rear had a squeek at one point also). It might take a day to go away but this seems to always work. WD40 is amazing.

Yeah most noises have been elimated, I had to cut both rear dust covers cuz they were grinding on the threads.
In fact I found that most noises are coming from the rear, but I fixed all those noises.
2k2excoupe, you are correct WD-40 is amazing.
However, I do not think it will fix this sound. I am also begining to realize that this should be a normal sound. Because with my oem shocks they made a similar sound when going over humps.
