For those of you with B+G, Have questions..
Hello,
I just had installed my B+G coilvers.. The rear is slammmed.. but the ride is remarkably smooth for that low of a setting..
Eitherway, I need to pick it up some.. The guy who installed these for me stated that I woldn't be able to do this by myself because the suspension and vehicle have to be supported.. I've had Ground Controls before and I was able to raise and lower it as I pleased.. Yes, It took awhile to do all four.. But I was able to do it. Can I raise and lower these with the aid of a jack and the tools (the wrenches) to adjust it?
Also, I saw that the little helper spring is completely compressed on the rear coilovers.. is this ok?
Please help me out.. These are my first set of "true" coilovers.
Thanks..

You can have them slammed, its not a problem, and they do ride really smooth. If you wanna raise the back, just jack it up with the wheel off and turn the top lock nut. This takes time because the rear brake lines are right in the way. Also, adjusting the camber with the rear kits will adjust some of the height.

blouisgod,
Thank you for responding so quickly. I thought it could be adjusted with a jack and the wrenches, but just wanted to make sure..
Also, do you know anything bout those helper springs? You know, the small spring that is located under the heavier one? Is that one suppose to be completely compressed? What is it function anyhow?
These B&G's are incredible..

Yeah they are squished when you have the b&gs lowered around 2.5 and less. The dual spring design is supposed to provide a better ride and aid in the speed sensing dampening, if i recall right.
