Two Questions
ONE:
Does anybody with TEIN Type SS's have a strange noise like the springs popping when turning the wheel at a dead stop or slow crawl? As best as I can tell... its because the steering rack attaches to the strut, so when it turns, the noise is the spring rotating on the adjusters.... and if i am right or wrong... is it bad that it makes that noise?
TWO:
how much lower ground clearance does an X brace give you? I have my car pretty freakin' low and i somehow, miraculously don't scrape... however im a fraid i'd smash the X brace on everything if it lowers the cars clearance by more than an inch.

I have SS and i have the popping noise too. Its probably because of improper install but I know a lot of people have noise issue with full coils. Best bet would be to just get used to it

Rep Power: 412 1) check all the locking nuts to make sure they are tight.
2) you will still have plenty of room, but you still might bend it. I know someone with an RSX who bent his where the screw comes in and he can't get it off now.
