skunk2 adj. control arm
has anyone ever tried to use the skunk2 upper control arms with the adj. ball joint, as a camber kit for the front? my buddy has a delsol that he hasn't put them on yet and i wanna see if the'll work on my car too. but if anyone has tried this and it worked, let me know, thanx

What are you talking about? Show me the product. If it is for the Del Sol then they probably don't make a product like that for our car since it has a COMPLETELY different suspension.

its a camber kit, search ebay, u'll find um. they have an adjustable upper ball joint to adjust the camber in and out. the control arm itself is not adjustable. and the upper mount on the strut is the pivot piont for the suspension but the control arm is connected to the spindle assembly via the ball joint.

that, absolutly, positivly will not work on our cars. see the Del Sol and all other older civic (not all the old ones..) have whats called a Double wishbone suspenion on all four corners. those upper controlarms replace the Upper "Wishbone" on the double wishbone suspension. We, however have whats called a McPhearson Strut type suspension on the front of the car. With that suspension there is no Upper control arm (Its been replaced by the strut)
So, No that will not fit/work on our cars at all.

thanx, my cars in the body shop still since i slid on ice, i havn't even had the wheels off myself so i didn't know anything. thanx for clearing that up, i saw some pics and now i totally realize i was so dumb for askin this in the first place, thanx
