adjusting toe

The tie rod has a bolt on it. Unscrew it and that changes the toe. I would NOT change the toe by yourself. Get a professional to do it. it is hard to guess toe.

have you ever looked into buying a used alignment machine? sometimes you can get one fairly reasonable($500-1000) and never have to pay for an alignment again. Hell, maybe even charge friends for some alignments to help cover the cost. If your interested let me know i used to be a manufactures sales rep for an alingment machine company and i cangive you some info reguarding different manufactures and pros /cons. I'm now back to doing the alignments for a living....
