'02 top mt to '01

Anyone knows what parts is/are needed for the strut top mounts to convert the '02 strut to a '01. Have searched the forum and someone mentioned about needing only the '01 top mount bearing. Will just getting the top mount bearing be sufficient ? Will it fit nicely with the '02 upper spring holding plate and the top mount(with the 3 studs) ?

you have two choices it looks like. Buy the mounts/bearings and slap them on the teins or take apart your stock suspension and use the 02 mount with an 01 bearing.

So I believe they will fit very well together. So can I say the only difference from a '02 and '01 strut is the top mount BEARING and nothing else ? I am only referring to the top mounting portion and not the strut diameter or the strut holes below which could be 14mm or 16mm. Will there be a reduction in ride height after the swap ?
