just got konis installed

well I just got my konis installed this morning, I love them. The ride is so nice and smooth. Just thought I would share this.

I had them installed professionally.I dont know **** about doing any of that.

I DIY it...that was a fun exp. so what springs u running on?....I have GC's on my Koni's..and well the Ride has turned to ****...I bottom out like no ones business...

I have sportlines on there. I also just ordered a neuspeed strut bar from robearracing to help also.

I also just got koni's about a week ago. That with skunk 2 coil overs, front strut bar and lower tie bar, is a killer combo...love all of them

If you look at the auctions closely, you will notice there is only a $13 difference, the auction I won, the price was $486, plus $35 for shipping, this auction is $534 with free shipping, so it is just $13 more, not a big deal. I paid $521 for my set, including shipping.

Sounds like they might of been installed wrong. The only way for them to come out is if the bottom bolt is loose, stripped out or wasnt torqued correctly when installed.

if you just tighten the bottom bolt with a little hand-held allen key it's impossible to get 50 ft/lbs as recommended. 50 ft/lbs is HARD, it's really tough just holdingthe shock body to keep it from turning. You definitely need an allen socket and a torque wrench

Just to be on the safe side dab a little bit of loc-tite on the threads too
