Tein Type Flex

I am looking into buying the tein type flex coilovers for the Ep3. i was trying to decide between these or the kw v2's, but i am leaning towards the teins because of the upper mounts and the stiffer spring rates. my question is does anyone have a stong argument for either and also where is the cheapest place to buy each???

flex will give you pillowballs and stiffer springs. V2s will give you stainless steel. You will have to cut holes in your hood to make the flex fit.

full teins? what do you mean. Tein has 2 options for our car and the flex will fit for the EP3. I don't know of anyone who has, but it is the same chassis, so it should fit. no worries. Just be wary of the upper mount.

If you're talking about the Teflon Coating, no the SS does not have it. The Flex, yes.

There is a Flex system coming out for the EM2/ES1, but it's currently TBA'd. It will be released this year. You can save your money and not have to drill holes through your hood.

Indeed.

It'll bolt right up but that's the only downside. Just wait for the EM2/ES1 version.

It doesn't say "Coming Soon" it says, "To Be Announced".
