JIC in an '03 (Lx coupe)
just a side not for any one planning on running the JIC's in a 2003. unlike the 01's and 02's they are not a direct bolt on. the back goes on smooth as day, and every thing in the front does except there is a lil bit of fab work required to the shock towers. its nothing major. but it does need some work to clear everything. they ride nice. get about 2.25" drop out of the front

if i didnt the the alans would not go in they would hit the shock tower.
and i would not be able to move them if need be. JIC advice was to make shure i can adjust them.
usafstud---lucky you...!!!
HondaLuver---why would i trim the hood?

the allen bolts move. They can fit without any problems. That is the point of camber plates. I am confused on what you had to trim because they should fit right in. If you plan on autoxing with your car now, you must move classes because you modified your strut mount.
Hondaluver mentioned the hood because the Tein Flex for the EP3 you must trim the hood to make them fit.

he saying that you can still install the coils without cutting the strut housing. Though you won't have full range of motion, they can be installed without doing what you did.

Look.
You can unscrew the allen bolts and move them. So move them closer together and they fit in the strut tower. You don't get full travel, which is why they put lots of holes in there.. so you can move them down the plate as you go to get as much travel as you need. You should not have had to cut anything to get them in.
