why the differene in front and back?
Just wondering why some springs have the same drop in front and back like 2.0" all around and other springs have like 2.0" in the front and 2.5" in the back? Wouldnt you want the drop to be equal in the front and back? Or is there a reason for this?

weight distribution in the car.
the front (Where the engine is) the weight stays pretty much the same. the rear however is where the trunk is, so they have no Idea how much weight you will end up having back there so they make the ride height a little higher to compinsate for any heavy loads (so you dont bottom out the shocks).

Ok that makes sense, but why do some companys have the same drop in front and back and some have the different drops in front and back? Wouldnt all the compnays realize this and have the differnt drops in front and back?
