I paid $225 for installing my Tein SS. Think I paid another $65 or so for the camber kit installs (SPC for front and back). And then another $70 or so for allignment.

This was actually a really cheap price cause other shops in town wanted around $300-400.

Thats too much.
Look for another shops. I wouldn't pay more than $150 for spring installation.

I was quoted $100 for the spring install, $80 for the camber kit install, and another $45 for the stupid front bushing install!

I'm gonna have them install the springs and camber kit(s), but I'm gonna do the bushings, geez, lol.

So...total $180 for the drop....I don't think it's too unreasonable, besides, I know myself, and I'd **** something up. That and I just don't have a full day to devote to this project. lol

Suspension mods are easy as hell, it's just a few bolts to turn. Do it yourself and save the money. I know you said you can't do it yourself but I'm sure you know someone in the area around you that is into cars and would be able to help. What kind of suspension are you using yo lower it? springs? coilovers?

I'm going to be going with Neuspeed Sport springs. I would DIY, but I live in an apt and they really frown on working on cars in their parking lot, and unfortunately, all of my friends either live on campus or in apts as well. So it makes it difficult to be able to DIY on anything relatively complicated and I know that the Koni install is supposed to be pretty complicated.

wow, I've never heard of apartment owners being such d*cks. All of the apartments I've had have never complained about me working on my car in the lot. Good choice with those springs, I rode on a set today, very nice ride but I still prefer the race

i was gonna have a shop do my springs, but i'll do it myself. With the right tools and right patience you can do anything!!! It does suck you live in an apartment complex like that, so i guess having a shop do it will work out, good luck with it anyway and hope you like your set up

I paid $300 to get my Eibach springs and Konis installed. Thats pretty good i think.

Konis will be more expensive to install then springs cus they hav to cut apart the front shock to put the koni in. So prob around 200 bucks.

it all depends. If you want to just lower your car w/springs only then it will cost you about 100-200$ for springs, then another 100-175$ for a camber kit. Depending if you want to install it yourself or not, that would be another 80-150$. Then another 50-80$ on alignment. If you want true coilovers (so your stock shocks wont blow & ride height adjustablity) it will cost anywhere from 650-1,300$. Then add another 100-175 for camber, 50-80$ for alignment, then again installation is up to you.
