RSX sway bar instal

I upgraded the EX sway bar to a RSX rear this weekend. How long has this job taken anyone else who has done it? It took me and my friend about 8 minutes to have the old one off and about another 8 minutes to put the new one on. Mine came from a type S. Has anybody had a stock endlink fail after this swap? Other then that I would just like to say that the car handels so much better now! The only thing is that I was really used to all the understeer and now its all gone. Makes mid-corner throttle lift a lot more interesting.

You shouldn't have a problem with the stock endlinks.

I just put on a progress rear bar and it took me a little over an hour. I've had it for three days and i've already broken an endlink... hopefully i'll get grey's soon.

That sucks. Just cause I'm curious, how many miles on your car before the progress went on?

I keep being amazed at the stuff this sway bar will let me get away with. It feels so weird to have a controlable drift in a front drive car, without using the handbrake. I wish all mods worked this good.

can someone with an 01 sedan talk about their install and how long it took? I know you have to drill some holes so any info would be helpful, I might be getting a free RSX-S bar, and will need some info.

I have something to add. I am getting a Type s sway bar from my friend he just ordered a full suspension setup and he is giving me all of his stock stuff for free The question I have is will the RSX endlinks work on my 02 ex coupe? SO I dont have to worry about upgrading. Thanks

I had 24k on the car before I put the bar on. Damn cheap honda endlinks.... and the original endlinks should be okay with an RSX bar

The install on a 01 lx sedan should be the same as a 01 dx/lx coupe. You'll need the Progress Mounting Hardware Kit ($115), the bar, bushings and brackets. If you don't have the bushings and brackets, get them from an Acura dealer.
You can get Grey's DIY for 01 dx/lx from my site at the url below (397k).
