OK so I put my progress 22mm sway bar on last night. Reading through the directions from progress it says to use the spacers that come with the kit. Makes sense since there is a space between where the bolt screws in and the little flange thingie. Anyway here is my problem. When I put everything up the first time to check for clearance and such everything was fine. But I didn't put the spacers in when setting up. So when I actually bolted the tie bar on I used the spacers. Now when I put the sway bar itself on there is 0 room between it and the muffler. Actually there's less than zero room cause there is actually tension on the muffler to put the bar in. So my question to you guys is: Did you use the spacer when installing the kit? And if so did you run into any clearance issues?
On a side note...can we talk to progress and get them to incluse diffrent bolts...the stock ones had a point end ( like this => ) to help you get the bolt through the hole. It took me almost an hour to line the holes up to get that stupid bolt through. End rant.
Let me know guys cause My car was rear ended and I had work done...I want to see if it's due to the work done or if it's bad R&D on progresses part. Please no " I don't THINK progress would put out a bar that doesn't fit" type of remarks..I don't care about your opinions...I want facts from people who have this installed.
Thanks.

So I'm probably going to have to have a peice added to my exhaust to have it fit...blahhh...maybe I'll just get an aftermarket muffler.
On a side note...wow is the back end stiffer now. Although it's scarier in a long sweeping turn now...just cause I'm not used to it. I have one corner I go around almost every day...50 was just about the max before the sway. Now at 50 the tires don't even squeel. So it deff helps...just not very confidense inspiring. In retrospect I think for the driving I do (mainly street with long sweeping turns) the 19mm bar would have been better. For xcross though...I deff then the 22 is the way to go.

yea the car hadles alot better now. year progress messed up on the design a few times, the first time was when they didn't know the ex's had a cat, the second was that the rear bar was too close to the muffler. and some aftermarket mufflers don't fit with it, just go to a muffler shop and they should fit it cheap...
sometimes when the car is cold itll hit the muffler but after it warms up the exhuast expands a bit and doesnt vibrate but it doesnt do it alot even when cold....used the spacers and all
