is there something i can buy or rather manufacturer myself to use as a bump stop for the rear suspension. Ideally i'd like something i could just pop-in the springs to lessen their compression to keep more pressure on the front tires during launch. It would purely be for the passes on the drag strip. Would plain old pieces of rubber shapped around the strut do the trick?? or could this cause some sort of damage?

Look for coil spring stabilizers at Auto Zone. They will pretty much just sit in between the coils of the spring and stabilize it. Those should work for a few passes down the strip and when you are done just take them out.

BTW..what are the intended use of these stabilizers? My car is lowered anyways...so my suspension sagging on launch isnt a major problem, just something i thought of while trying to figure out how to get my 60' times down.
Thanks
