Anyone with coilovers please help....

I purchased a set of R1 Coilovers off ebay for my civic. I understand that this may have not been a smart move but I still need help. Ive never actually seen a coilover set for our cars and Im wondering why the springs that came in the kit are all virtually the same size. The eibach springs that i bought for it before came in the sizes of the O.E. Am I just missing something here???...do the stock struts have to be modified for these to fit?...or did I get f*cked The box is labeled for an 01+Civic and the labels couldnt have been stuck on there by someone cause they're directly on the box, but I dont think that the front two springs will fit in the stock perches. Any help will be appreciated, thanx, Scott

eh dont trip, thats how ALL coilovers are... they are alot smaller than OEM springs. reason being its easier to adjust/make a perch thats 2" in diameter opposed to 6".

ok...ill have to check on the spring rates cause there are two different size numbers on the springs........so how will they fit into the cup where my front stock springs sit??...i realize the diameter is smaller but how do they fit into where the huge *** front springs are?

well thats where the threaded body comes into play(you know that cylinder thing). thats going to be your new perch(where your "springs" sit). the threaded body sits on the stock perch and the spring sits on the threaded body. get it? if not look at the DIYs you'll see a picture of how they look on the strut.
