Konis Installed!!

Well, 7 months and about $800 later, I finally have aftermarket shocks (struts actually). 7 months cuz' I was praying my stock shocks could withhold the might of my Neuspeed Sports until I had some extra cash to throw for some Konis. And $800 cuz' of the cheapest-I-could-find price of $554 shipped from Tornactive and a big fat $266 install job because of the needed modification to the OEM struts. Besides that refreshing bending-over-experience, the ride is much smoother and I don't cringe everytime I hit any kind of bump whatsoever!! Was it worth it??? Well, if we were to time travel to 4 months from now only to see me kicking myself in the *** cuz' my stock struts were blown and Tokico and KYB have YET to release an alternative, I'd say 'Hell yes, it was worth it!!"

nice

for those looking to get them, its true:

"...Besides that refreshing bending-over-experience, the ride is much smoother and I don't cringe everytime I hit any kind of bump whatsoever!!"

with koni's you dont have to swerve out of the way for bumps, its like driving a stock suspension car again

Right buddy! Bling Bling or something. 15's = lighter weight. But I wouldn't mind some 18s if I just happened to stumble upon a set.

yeah same here i paid about a total of 40 buck for the DIy for the 14 mm drill bit and the pipe cutter, and other miscellanious parts. well then i guess another fourty for the alignment. so i at least saved some money. Congrats. you will love the shocks

Hey I just got mines in too, can't say the ride is as good as stock springs and shocks but it is better then blown shocks and you can really take some wicked turns on these koni's, awesome!
