Taking off Rims? and putting stocks on =Lower?
Ok check this i prolly already know the answer to this but just wanted to here you guys opinion! I got 18's 215/40/18 and i was wondering if i was to put the stock 14"in steelies back on would my car be a little lower or what? sorry for the dum question but i just like to get second opinions on things.

If you look at that page you will notice not only does the speed loss/gain, It also shows a comparison of the 2 sizes..........
the diameter of the stock lx wheel is..........24.25
the diameter of a 18" rim with 215/40/18.............24.80
IF YOU KNOW ANY F&^%@# MATH YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIGURE IT OUT HOW MUCH LOWER IT WILL PUT YOUR CAR

okay well if you noticed i edited my post above and the reason for that was because i now understood what you wanted me to do but if you saw the edit that i made and decided to ignore it **** u to then.... i don't read minds man i didn't know what the hell you put that up for. seriously though i thought you meant for me to look at it cause you thought i said slower?

120$ to have discount tire remove and remount the tire, also rebalance.
75$ per rim to powedercoat. I figured it would be better to get new rims all together fora couple hundred more. How much is it going to cost you?

MAN OMG are you serious about 120 for them to take off the rim from the tire? OMG i'm not expecting to pay that much. I haven't asked them yet. but to powder coat my rims it's gonna cost 50 per rim!! i really needa talk to discount about that 120 price! i might go to a bootleg shop
i don't even know how much it's gonna cost to get the lip re-machined. Going to the shop tomorrow so that they can give me a quote and write a program for me!!

Ya know, im really a big fan of red/white rims combo. However with your car, i would have to say black, gloss black looks great!!
(for your car) Black rims, Carbon fiber hood, and Kaminari side skirts and rear= one nice *** civic!

it broke down 45$ to take tires off the rims. 45$ to re-mount all 4 tires, and 25 for the rebalance. Normally its free for rebalance, since thats where i buy my tires, but since i was gonna take off the tires not due to a flat, road hazard ect...they were going to charge full price.
