Ok, not beating around the bush here.. I want springs that will give my ride about a 1 to 2 inch drop. I want the springs to be stiff possibly 250 - 300 pounds. Ideas?

Odd, I thought most springs lowered more in the rear then front. What are they rated at?

250 front and 300 rear? is that what you are asking? rear springs are alot stiffer than front springs. i dont think theres any springs that are on market that much stiff. why would you want that stiff springs? track use? you will probably need to replace shocks with those stiff springs.

I was debaiting on get Skunk2's that are rated at almost 500. I love my friends TRD springs on his celica they are around 300. I'm gonna be running track and scca btw, this is gonna also be an every-other-day driver.

u gotta need new shocks if u get that stiff springs, i was running h&r sports and as soon as i autox (back in this July), the stock shocks perforamce is decreasing each time, if u are crazy about lapping, its definitely worth it to get a set of coilovers

Just a note, but I understand that Koni yellows in stock trim are only good up to about 450LB/in - 500LB/in. any thing higher then that and I'd be a good Idea to talk to Koni and get them revalved for the stiffer springs.

you can always get custom spring rates from most companies. it will cost you thought. if you call up neuspeed and say you want a set of neuspeed springs with such and such rates they should be able to make them for you. don't know the cost though

As far as I've experienced, tein S.tech are extremely soft and not geared towards performance. I'd go with eibach sportline.

HRM, the Sportlines seem a little to soft for me but for some reason they keep getting suggested to me. Also, I am going to be doing shocks but I'm just asking about springs now. Thanks though...

yup, when i had my 2 w7s in my trunk, i needed to get stiffer springs that carry more weight, so i called up ground control and they sent me stiffer ones that carry about 550lbs each for the rear. cost me $50 each.
