Are all adjustable coilovers...
Alike?
I see coilovers on ebay from $59 to $199. Some of them look identical...
What kinda problems can I get into by going cheap if they all look alike?
Has anyone bought and installed the value priced adjustable coilovers? If so, what do you think about them?
The FAQ says that Sleeved coilovers will be more bouncy and stiff than the non adjustable springs. But I can live with a little bounce if I am saving a couple hundred dollars.
Thanks in advance

The springs are pure ****. Chances are they're crappily made, they're not very strong and the spring rates are probably not very well thought out or toleranced. Don't save money on the suspension. Buy something that will work. Save money on interior dress-up or something else non-functional.

yes they're all the same, they are all CRAP.
j/p...
well all the ebay coilovers from 50-200 are pure crap. not only will be ride badd but you risk blowing your shocks which will in the end cost you more. even with the "good" ones such as ground control and skunk2s if you drop the car too low, they tend to blow the shocks. i plan on installing ground controls soon but wil only drop it less than 2" so i'm hoping it'll be fine. if anything i can always switch back to my neuspeeds.

I guess I am in the market for some used springs....
What do you say about selling me your neuspeeds once you get the new setup you wanted to install?
Will they work on a 2003 LX coupe?

Understood
I should probably look around in my local area for a shop and some folks I could get some pointers from first hand.
I gotta say thanks for the original warning though, I was on the verge of making a mistake.
