Ground Control problem

I need some help if anyone out there has had the same problem I have or might know how I can fix it. I've got a 02 civic coupe. I bought the coilovers from a respectable store nearby and let them install them at the same time. As soon as they were done with the coilovers I left. I noticed that when I turn the steering wheel the front springs make an awful popping sound. The ride is great and what I expected out of it. I took the car back three different times for them to look at it and try to figure it out. They could not figure out anything to help me out. See the problem is the springs do not move when I turn the steering wheel. It seems as though it wants to turn but pops back to the original position. I've called ground control and told me that they specifically made these coilovers to fit the coupe. Any help with this would be appreciated.

and that is normal . you will hear sound when you turn your steering wheel.Anything other then stock springs will make this noise with our front struts. When the springs are loaded with the weight of the car and you turn the steering wheel, the top hat tries to turn the spring in it's perch so it goes "clunk."Grease up the top hat/spring bushing real well with White Lithium grease and that should take care of most of the problem, if not all of it. You might have to grease them up every now and then also. Good luck...late

mod will move this topic to suspension forum and lock it eventually. if you need any more questions pm me or search, theres plenty topics that covered this topic
