Sportlines or Prokit?

Hey everyone.....here is my dilemma....I want to drop my 02 civic enough to the point where I have on driveability problems.....and someone suggested the prokit to me but i want a little more than an inch so i was thinking the sportlines......so if anyone has any prefernce one way or the other it would be great......thanks......and im pretty much only looking at springs right now and keeping the oem struts...thanks in advance

prokit or sportlines. you will probably have to replace oem struts eventually, its just matter of time ,road conditions etc.. i would go with lower drop than prokit though , 1".. not low enough. just get whatever you like, and save up for new struts for the future

Go for the Sportlines. I have a set and do over 300 miles a week in my car. The ride is close to stock, but a little rougher and bouncier on stock struts. I've only scraped once going over a really tall speed bump with a couple of friends riding with me.

Eventually I'm going to replace my struts with some KYB's or Tokico's since I dont like the Koni design.

You should also check out tein s-tec, 1.3" front and 1.4" rear. It is also cheaper around 130ish at www.groupbuycenter.com

either one is pretty good spring, but like the others say there is still the prob of stock shock. hopefully tokico or one of those other brands will save the day with a replacement that doesnt require any cutting of stock strut

Thanks a ton you guys for your replys so quickly........i'm def considering the tein s-tec's....if someone could tell me in comparison which one is better though the sportlines or the teins it would be greatly appreciated.......the only reason i ask is that i have heard soo many great things about the eibach's so that is only why im partial to them....at the same time tein has been known for their suspension technology.....but from personal preference if you guys could inform me it would be greatly appreciated.....thanks in advance

Just a heads up, Sportlines might be listed as a 1.4 drop, but it's actually more around a 1.75 drop. The 1.4 measurement is BEFORE they settle.

So if that's the case, I'm guessing the 1 inch drop listed for the Pro-kit is probably a bit lower after they settle too.

The pro-kit is about a 1.4-1.5 inch drop after they settle. It doesn't look bad and you won't hit much to anything, but I personally want to go lower.

Trust me if you put sportlines and put on a kit you will scrape the sh#t out of it had my sportlines for two years and they have settled to a 1.75 drop now so I think pro kit will work out nice just my 2 cents
