Question ? on stock suspension play

Alright, I searched and couldn't find any specific info. on this. Anyways, at about 61,000 miles my front stock struts seem to start going bad. Basically my front tires are slightly rubbing the wheel well as one of the front clips was grinded down so the head is gone, but it doesn't rub the actual wheel well guard only the one clip in the top front as it is a few mm closer to the tire. FYI, I've had my Gold-Lines and Revo camber kit on since about 20,000 miles. I took it to Honda to look at it and they could not find any problems (leakage, cracks, etc.) visually, but would charge me to do a full diagnostic (forget that). So then I went to an actual suspension shop that would do the whole diagnostic for free and they didn't find anything wrong at all. They told me that oem struts usually last only 60k to 70k miles and mine are in great condition still, but since I am a little over 60k that they are probably starting to have some minor play in them. Is this true, have any of you experienced this? If so, I guess a could just go with smaller tires (I have a spare set of 205/40/17 vs. my current 215/45/17) for now till I have money to actually replace the struts. Just wanted to get some additional insight/opinions from everyone, thanks in advance. Oh yeah, I have an '01 and don't have any of the suspensions symptoms from the TSB's (knocks on wood), just very minor rubbing in the front now that only started recently and yes I do drive very hard on turns (I should stop that).

It's probably the goldlines. They might have changed their ride height. Over time you pounded them down and they changed their length. Cheap springs. That's just my opinion, but it looks like that's the problem.

i'd have to go with grey on that one... my rear springs are shot (from driving too long with blown shocks) and even now with the koni's i still bottom out sometimes because they got weak... time for me to call ground control for a pair of rear springs, and time for you to get a new higher quality set of springs...

Hmmmm... I totally forgot to look into that. Cool, thanks a lot guys, probably cheaper to replace springs (even w/ the more expensive/high quality ones) than struts anyways.
