Ijust got a set of new rims w/ tires (they r balanced n mounted)
i been asking people if i need an alignment or not..
some said YES.. n some said no..
so what kind of ALIGNMENT do i need? and why do i need it?
i have a comfy ride.. the wheels r very stable

Assuming the diamter of your wheels/tires is the same as your last set of rims and tires, no you don't need to get an alignment. If the total diameter of your wheel/tire is different now, you may or may not NEED to get one, but one would be recommended. You don't want any premature wear on your brand new tires.

you should go to your local tire dealer. They should offer a free alingment check. I work at Just Tires and alignment checks are free. For a basic alignment it usually cost 65 bucks to set the toe and caster.

well they should give you a read out of the specs of the toe, caster and camber. I know at just tires that the computer prints out all the specs in either green or red ink. Green beign good and red being bad. Take a look at it and if your car is way off from factory specs get it aligned.

if you just got tires without lowering, you do not need an alignment. even if it is off, it will only be off slightly so it is not a big deal. once/if you lower then get one.
