It looks like the mount is connected by a ball and it doesn't look like you can adjust the camber. hmm wait until glen responds.
Here are the answers to your questions in order!
Zzyzx Cool, one more thing to add to my list...
one question though,
Does it allow you to adjust camber?
No it does not allow for camber adjustment. KW provides camber adjustment on the coilover itself, where it mounts to the wheel hub as in this picture below.

Unless you want to put your wheel sideways, you will have enough adjustment to do just about any setup you need.
jedo per side or for both?
That is for both fronts, left and right.
Civic2k1racer man, why shouldnt it come free to fix the sound problem instead of paying 200 more to stop a popping sound as a result of the coil overs
This statement is completley false! The failure has nothing to do with the installation of the coilovers, and everything to do with the factory upper bearing failing!
According to my local honda Service Manager, these bearings are failing constantly, and they are warranteeing them due to the noises that they make. The difference is that they are replacing them as complete front strut units, from strut to upper mount to correct the problem.
If your bearing is not making noise, you dont even have to consider it. Rob Clark and a few others will be interested in these as they not only take care of the bearing issue, but also take some of the play out of the suspension making it more accurate, as we are replacing a factory rubber upper mount, with a solid bearing mount.
Case in point:
MIT yeh....too much. just get 01 bearings for my tein basic, and reused stock mounts, no noise, no problem!......i wouldnt spend too much for lowering thou........
jedo why not just send it free to those who ordered the KW's???
I would love to, but as our systems are made to work with the factory bearing, the only reason to change to this bearing is if your factory one is not functioning, and you dont want to keep buying the honda bearing each time it wears out.
ort2001 cool!! so if i get JIC FLTA2, should i get those too??? im not sure what their coil diamter is...
See the answer to Civic2k1racer!

dragin it doesnt sound like a pillow ball to me it just looks like a bearing kit like whats on there stock
This is a variation of the typical pillowball mount. It gives you the rigidity of a pillowball system, while providing a proper bearing for the system to rotate on as it was intended.
Thanks

just curious then... does that mean the KW v2 have camber kits built in the coilovers?
or are you guys talking about something totally different>?
sorry, but still tyring to learn all the suspension parts
The front struts have camber adjustment built into the housings.
Notice that the rightmost bolt hole is elongated. this allows your alignment professional a camber adjustment range to get you vehicle in spec!
This housing will be the same on V1, V2 and V3 systems when the are released. Currently the V2 is the only setup available.
Thanks for the questions, and keep them coming!

The mounts are just an option! They are not absolutely neccesary as the kit is intended to use the factory bearing, but as they are failing all over even on stock suspension, we have offered this bearing upgrade/replacement for you.

thx.
.... but why on the front struts and not the rear struts>?
'cause usually, wouldnt the rear struts would need camber kits the most>?

'cause i am planning on getting the ingalls camber kit as well.. but if the kw v2 has the front.. so the rear ingall camber kit is all i need....??
oh ya.. i sent you an email Glen, loooking to hear from you.
thanks

Its so you can adjust the Front camber to meet your needs, on the street you'd probably set the front camber close to stock for greater tire longevity, For me doing autocross..... I want just about as much Negitive camber as I can get on the front.

yeah but it does not look like it can be changed at the drop of hat. it would have to be set when put in. It allows for camber adjustment within certain specs, but it won't allow you to do it say at a race. you would have to drive around like that once it is set. At least that is how I see it.

V2 has adjustible ride height as well as bounce adjustment on the Shock. V3 has ride height adjustment and both Bounce and rebound adjustment on the shock. Dont know about V1
V2= Good for some one who wants improved handling on the street.
V3= Good for some one who want improved handling for both street and track.
at least thats my take on them.
Note: adjustments are for Low speed damping

Perfect Zzyzx, now where do I send your paycheck.....
Thats exactly correct. Bounce is more commonly referred to as rebound, but same thing.
V1 is a preset dampening by our engineers to be the best balance between handling and ride. Essentially all V2's and V3's can mimic a V1 if you wanted to .

How about a nice sponsorship?
Ever since I got in to Autocross, I've done nothing but learn as much as I possible could about suspension and performance handling. I'm just now going over wheel rates and suspension Frequencies.
I was thinking of going to the Fontana, CA SCCA Pro Solo event next year or maybe the Season opener for the SCCA Solo 2 National Tour next Januray in Litchfield, AZ. we'll see, it all depends on $$ and if I can get that time off.
