Spring Seating
I recently installed Goldline Lowering springs on my car and noticed a problem; when i turn the wheel more than a quarter in either direction, I hear a pop like something was slipping from my passenger's front spring. Upon inspection, i noticed that when i turned the wheel the spring would begin to move and pop back into place, creating the noise. Is there any special way the top of the spring eneds to be seated and is there some marking on the strut itself that would show me how to seat the spring?
Every other spring is fine, it is only this one that i am having problems with. Also, if anyone could think of another source for this noise, please state it here so I can try to fix it.
Thanks

haha! you made my day by teaching me that word
i just looked it up....
asinine:
: of, relating to, or resembling an ***
(of course, there's the "less fun" definition, but we'll ignore it...
: marked by inexcusable failure to exercise intelligence or sound)

oh yeah. i don't think goldline is a bad company for springs. a lot of people here have them. and if it turns out something is wrong with your spring, i hear that goldline has really good customer service, and they'll send you a new one (i "hear"; i don't have first-hand experience)...
