RSX rear sway Q
For people who have the RSX rear sway bar (19mm)...did your car raise a little big higher in the back? It seems like ever since the sway bar was on...the car seems higher. On the positive note...my car is like glued to the ground when i do turns.

The rear anti sway bar has nothing to do with the ride height of the car. It can only be spring related.
Why don't you just try taking the bar off and putting back on the old one? Every time you raise your car the springs are gonna have to take more time to settle back at the height it was. For the best results, use measuring tape. Measure the distance between the upper fender and the center cap. If the #s change, then you'll know if it was the sway bar or not. Just keep in mind that you've gotta wait for the springs to settle first though.

If you bar is upside down it will hit the control arms. A few people, including myself, have done it. Might want to check to see if it is the right way.

Mine didn't raise up either, and it also is glued to the road when I turn.
Wait, how can you put the sway bar in upside down? It didn't seem possible....

I think I may have experience something like what you're talking about..
where the car seems higher... this usually happens after I jack up the rear of the car...
but it settles after a quick drive... its obviously higher too.. cuz I can fit like my head in there or something instead of just fingers. heh (exaggerating but u get the picture)
sway bars are actually springs... the sway bar connects the two LCAs, I could have sworn there's a way for it to get the LCA stuck in a position... I remember reading about this before... or was it something to do with the endlink? hmm.
if I remember I'll post some more worthwhile info. heh. sorry.
