I would like to know too. Those are the GR-2's. The AGXs are usually the ones used to lower your car, i believe because they allow dampening. I do'nt think the GR-2's have dampening.

Those are GR-2's and they suck! They are just stock replacements but they are a lot crappier than stock. I had a set on my 90 hatch and the rears blew in less than 9 months. I replaced them with Tokico's and they are soooooooo much better. Just beware of the low end KYB crap.

F*CK Tokico... I've been waiting for their shocks to come out for more than a year now... First they say they'll make them, then they wont, then they will, then they wont.... And Koni's cost too much. My stock shocks are still good for now, but they wont be good forever...

I am going to have Grey Hair by the time Tokico makes up their mind, I have been waiting also. I swear, I am having all the trouble in the world trying to find shocks for our 01 civs. All I could find were Koni's from Tornactive. If anyone else knows of any other GOOD shocks, please PM and let me know. I bought some Coilovers but they do not slide over the front shocks, so now I gotta get after market shocks. AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I dunno if this post is help or hindrance, but I was told by KYB that they would have an AGX setup for the 2k1+ civic ES/EM application for September 03. However, since then I have not gotten any return correspondence from them, and I went to a friend's shop and HE told me the AGX's for our cars would be delayed until January 04.

Spoke to KYB R&D Department (Randy), no KYB strut is out for the 2001-up Civic. They ar estill in development and trying to make a complete front bolt in strut. No ETA was set, and got very little information from him.

got this email back from KYB
me: I have questions about the new line for the 2001-02 honda civic. Are they a full strut or are they inserts for the front like koni?
KYB: They will be struts/spring seated shocks not a cartridge.
