whats up with my drop????
I just got neuspeed race springs and spc front and rear camber kit installed this week.
After they were done installing everything the back seemed to be a little higher than it should, meaning i still had about a 3 finger gap in the rear. the front was not even a fingers gap.
So i guess what i am getting at is will the back come down after the springs settle or did the boneheads install the springs and camber kit in wrong. Just a side note, it is only on one side in the rear, the other side seems to be lowered the right amount. Can someone help me with this, thanx.

Do you have a pic of this? Sounds like that one spring is installed wrong, upside down. The springs should all have the same height and then let time set in to break in the springs. Thats what I think.

The rears are stiffer than the fronts... they might have to set in a little bit. The bigger drop in the front doesn't surprise me. If they're race springs then they're probably set to neutralize the car out... so if that means the rear has to set a little higher, than thats the way it goes. There's no lip in the front, there is in the back so they've gotta leave a little room for that too.
Before you do anything, drive for a week and see if they settle down a little bit. Even then, I bet the back will still set higher.

From what I remember, the left side of our cars is heavier and sits a little lower... When I installed my Tein SS my car was sitting funny, then I adjusted the coil overs so it was all even on all 4 corners....

It happened to me with my nuespeed race springs. The back looked like it didn't drop very much. So I took my SI out for a ride and took some curves at a high speed to test out the new springs. After 5 minutes of driving and hard cornering, the back settled down in place.
Thanks for all the information and thoughts guys, i think i will see if the spring in the back settles after a few weeks, if not i think i am going to take it back to the guys who installed them.
