anybody with tein basic coil-overs

Does anybody have these installed on their civic yet? If so, whats the quality of the ride. I know they dont have adjustable dampening, so whats it like. Thanks.

Not too many have them yet. I believe MIT, D5cIvIc, and NBPCivic have them, but not sure if they've all installed. Kinda curious myself, since I want to make a decision on coilovers(Tein) this week. Let's hope they post some feedback soon. Tein told me that the Basic are valved like the recommended setting for the SS coilovers, with a more comfort oriented ride. be nice to hear real people's opinions.

Haven't had a chance to install yet. I've been very busy and still haven't received my upper mounts for the 2001 Civics yet. I will be sure to post feedback and pics as soon as they are installed.

New ones from a 2001 civic because the 2002 upper mounts dont fit correctly. I gues you can still use them but they will make noise.

yeh that ture, I believe D5cIvIc has this problem already, cuz 02 model, he said not fit correctly, when he jacked up front wheel for oil change, then tein front start making noise when turn.
I wonder how much it cost for 2001 Upper Mounts? Bearing is the same as 02 right? if so, i prob. need to order just 2001 upper mounts, also where you get them?.......
