Does spring rate become lower?
i have ground control with koni and was wondering if it is possible for a spring's spring rate to become lower? The reason i am wondering is because the springs have bottomed out countless times before i got my konis. Now even with the konis, they compress a lot and don't have that much room for travel. Should i buy new springs from ground control? (they sell parts from their coilover kits separately) Or is it impossible for a spring's spring rate to become lower?

You can wear a spring out to the point where it becomes loose, but it usually takes a long time. If you're bottoming out and your car is absolutely slammed, then get stiffer ones that won't travel as far, or raise the car up a little bit.

there is only one way to increase suspension travel and that is raise it up. If you are still bottoming out then you need to raise it up a bit until you don't. Good quality springs will not wear out. Also you can try to turn up the stiffness on your shocks. and help dampen those bumps some. If you still want to stay slammed buy some stiffer springs from ground control. The ride will become more rough if you do.
