Is this new...?

Been searching for springs for a while. Mainly have my heart set on H&Rs, then I stumbled across this... I know APC isn't regarded as the best quality but I also know some of their stuff really isn't that bad. This springs are made out of TITATNIUM? Yay? Nay? If you think this is decent I'm willing to be the guinnie (sp) pig for everyone.

Linky...
$179, according to the site, 60% lighter, 5 itmes stronger...

Post your opinions please...

sovereign82 is an unknown quantity at this point
Well I know your working on a turbo...and if youre getting springs...you'll probably end up with Konis...which means you are asking for problems.

About those springs...I dont see the point of spending the extra $$$$s compared to Goldlines. Also, I dont believe those are titanium. I believe they are just titanium COATED.

Yeah upon looking into it more I realized what it said... I don't get how they can advertise "60 percent ligther yet 5 times stronger" if it's just a coating. Anyway, I purchased the H&Rs for 149.

Thanks for the tips though man

Yeah, that's stupid. Notice this: "Corrosion-resistant titanium finish.". It's just a coating. They're trying to rip people off. Titanium is extremely difficult to work with. A set of titanium spring would cost over $2,500!!! Hell, I'm just pulling that out of my ***. I don't know how much a set would cost. Lots. Plus, you can't coat the springs with titanium. You can't spray titanium. You can't dip something in molten titanium. It's probably just titanium colored. LOL Stupid CrAP.

Titanium is brittle. I don't think you'd want something designed to flex made out of Titanium... it would break in no time. We make hips and knees out of titanium where I work because of it's stiffness and light weight, and yes, it's a bitch to work with too.
