just installed neuspeed x brace

well after having it sit in my trunk for months now, i finally got it installed at my neighbors house who has jack stands, i was gonna get it professionally done but it cost too much and i had no time. i instantly felt the front much more tight when i pulled out of his driveway. the front is so stiff now and the rear is not, im planning on getting the rsx sway bar in like 2 weeks, i took some corners really fast, i couldnt really tell if the x brace was working that much cause my car kept sliding and my tires screeching like crazy(stock firestones), but i took some wavy roads quick and i felt a difference. i just have the x brace with the neuspeed front upper strut bar and it made my front much more stiff, i reccomend these two parts together

The reason you can tell it's working is BECAUSE the shitty stock Firestones are squealing. Your suspension up front is hella stiff, and the rear-end wants to break loose on you. I tested this inbetween installing mine and the rear tie bar/ sway bar combo. Once I did that, the rear tracks a lot better, and the tires grip better.

However, I hope you plan to upgrade your springs and shocks, or go with full coilovers soon. Taking corners like that on your stock setup will blow those struts in no time. Not to mention those tires really don't care for the added abuse.

Good choices on some of your first mods, though.

yeah, today i took a turn quick and the front was really stiff and stable and the back was leaning like crazy. the rsx sway bar should alleviate that problem. i really do recommend the x brace, i noticed a difference

Wait till you hit a bumpy, rough, curvy road.
The x-brace keeps the car tracking straight ahead, much, much better.

Was it difficult to realign the holes in the control arms after you took the bolts out?

Best overall selection and prices (when shipping is factored-in) that I have found so far is Tornactive.

Ordered all my Neuspeed suspension stuff there. . . saved about $60 over the closest competitor.

Install takes about 10 minutes once it's up on jack stands. You don't need any additional hardware. You simply remove the bolts from the lower control arms, install the brace, and replace the bolts. Torque to spec, and you're done.

If you pull out of a driveway too fast you'll likely hit the x-brace mounting point.
I did, but not too bad, and it held up pretty well.

The front bolts are slightly hard to get back in, when installing the x-brace.
I freaked for a sec when I couldn't get the bolt back in.
Since I installed it without lifting the car, it took a bit of effort to get back in.
Nothing to difficult, as I am no mechanic.

Can this x-brace be used along with a Progress front sway bar or is this a different route to tuning the front suspension?

You shouldn't have any trouble with the swaybar and x-brace.

Sweet, so I'm guessing that they would not overlap any.

The x-brace stiffens up the front end, right? So that would create more understeer, right? Don't our cars understeer enough as it is? Someone correct me please.

Also, does this stiffen up the chasis, or does it cause less body roll?
