Thumbs down Very Idiotic question....

Hello everyone,

I'm thinking of lowering my car. I got a lowering spring and a front and rear camber kit ready to go... I was about to install them, but I heard lowring the car damages the OEM Struts... Does that mean the struts will break and will need to be replaced later on? I wanna lower the car and I don't have enough money for Tein SS.

So, is lowering the car with just the springs and camber kit bad?

its not bad.
you can lower it without any problems
eventually you will need to replace new shocks. such as koni yellow insert shocks. imo its too expensive(550-600)

Yukonart will become famous soon enough
They will wear-out prematurely due to being compressed more than they're designed for on a constant basis. Eventually, they will begin to leak fluid under the increased demand on them, essentially blowing. . . just not catastrophically.

SlammedBlueEM2 is on a distinguished road
And depending on how low you go, the struts may bottom out. You'll know what I mean if it happens.

If you want a new set of aftermarket shocks, Koni is your only choice right now.
