Question HELP! Neuspeed Race springs?

I have just bought a set of neuspeed race springs. I have not installed them yet. My questions is this, is the drop to much for everyday driving? I have an oem body kit! Am I better off to buy some other set of springs? (with a smaller drop) I don't want to spend all my time driving and scraping up my car on bumps. I'm putting the springs on with 17 inch Konig Tantrums if that helps you out.

Thanks in advance,

Rob

OK!

All the shops that I call to ask how much to have the springs installed, have been telling me that i'm going to have huge problems with that kind of drop on my car. Yet, when I go on the 2k1 website a ton of people have the same springs with no problems.

The only thing that I should worry about is the camber, right?

Thanks,

Rob

Dude, just get a front and rear camber kit and you'll be fine. Since you don't have one right now thats why they are telling you that you'll have problems. With the oem kit the race springs will give you the perfect drop.

After you pay for all this i would start investing for some konis cuz after a year your struts and shocks are gonna start to go. I have goldlines and its 1.75 of a drop and my ride is getting kinda bouncy and i can feel every bump i hit.

Thanks for the advice! I was already looking in to that! I've been reading up on the Koni's. Is it true that when you put those in your ride hight becomes higer?

it will become slightly higher because they are stiffer than stock springs. Also, that other guy may have put the perch on wrong way. I don't see how it could become that much higher. Remember with konis, you need to be careful of the rear perch and you have to modify your front struts to get them to fit.

That sounds like a huge problem just to put on shocks

Sweet!

I'm in the process of buying the SPC Front and Rear Camber Kit! I will hopefully have all the stuff on by the end of this month...

Thanks for all the help!
