i was thinking about getting the skunk2 coilovers. what else do you reccommend for optimum performance?
i was looking at the skunk2 coilovers but they don't have a shock. do i need to purchase shocks for them?
(sorry if this is a dumb question).

yes u would definately want shocks, since lowering a car will make the stock shocks go out on u right away. Koni yellows r the best ones u can get but Tokico Illuminas and KYB AGX's r also a nice set. also u might want a camber kit in order to align your wheels right when u lower your car, i think Ingalls would be a good one for front and back.

You will need shocks Koni yellows are the only ones out right now. They are expensive and you need to gut your front struts to install them(fronts are only inserts. If you have the cash get a full coilover setup from B&G or TIEN.

would i get better performance out of the B&G or TIEN than the skunk2's with the koni's or tokico (when they come out)?

yes they are better. They are one piece and designed to go together. matching sleeved coilovers to shocks will vary. I mean skunk2s plus tokicos will be different than skunk2s with konis or kybs.

I luv my setup. But True coilovers where designed to work together and will offer better performance. Sleeved is the econo way to have adjustability. But since Koni yellows are the only aftermarket shock available at about $550 a set Its not as econo as it was intended to be.

ok... so if the koni's are like $550 and the skunk2 coilovers are like $350 (give or take) thats like $900... and true-coilovers are not much more than that are they?
so which offers the stiffer, more race oriented true-coilover, B&G or TIEN?

so between the tien ss and the b&g, which is the most track worthy?
