Wheel Balance Help
I cant for some reason get any of my local shops to get this right
. O am new by the way and have been realy pretty much a reader of this site not a poster. Any way I got an 02 civic ex got kit and all that **** but can get to all that at a later date. Anyway I need some help I got 18's on 215-35-18 toyo sneakers my problem is the balancing. I have taken it to about every shop around my area including Honda and not a damn one of them can stop my front end from shaking. They have all claimed that they have checked the balance on both static and I forget what the other one is called of the top of my head but they claim that those two are enough to make sure that my wheels are in perfect balance. When they put them on my car and I drive down the road right at 55 or so the car shakes like hell
. O and by the way the car still is sittin on all factory **** so no lowering kits, air bags, ajustables, nothin just factory. I am fastly running out of options as to what to do and Honda told me that it is the wheels witch of course is bullshit. If anyone here has or has had this problem I could sure use some help. O one more thing at this point my wheels got weights all over them not just in one area the shops say it doesnt matter is that right either???

Have them do a dynamic tape weight balance. Watch them do it and make sure the machine reads out to 0.00 each time.
If you'd like they have a machine called the "Road Force" which will detect any defect or tread seperation in the tire, and determine the runout of the rim. It will tell you if anything is defective. The only downside to this machine is that it costs $20 per tire.
Do you have hub-centric rings? Wheel locks?

Have you gotten an alignment? That might help. Wider, skinny tires will follow the road a lot more and you'll feel more bumps and shakes since there's less of a cushion, and the car becomes a little more sensitive to alignment. Make sure you have the right hub-centric rings as well... the wheels may be in balance, but they may not be rolling true to center.
What kind of rims, and how many miles on the tires?

Hay thanks for the quick reply
. Sorry guess more info would have helped for starters I am not to sure what hub centric rings are?? If you are talking about the ring that is inside the back of the wheel like a small piece of metal then yea I did but when I took them to Honda they said that I didnt need them because they where just spacer type things so the wheel wouldnt rub or anything like that. Next wheel lock I guess you could call them that I got the ones that you need like a break tool for your car so to speak to get the lugs off its hard to describe but hell not your normal person would have this tool in there garage but seeing as some people here know there **** they may
. The wheels are the Giovanna G Racing ( not sure how to spell that sorry ) and two of the tires I just bought and the other have like 5000 miles on them. For some reason last year the two front tires wore on the inside but when I took it to be checked they said all was good so i didnt say anything else about it to them. Other than that Im lost so far the car has been to Goodyear, 2 Honda dealerships, A chevy dealer, and a place called Bobs wheel and tire. Those are the only places in this area that have a machine to handle the wheel tire combo

Well if you're replacing tires for inner shoulder wear and you're rolling stock, thats an alignment issue. The uneven wear will make the car shake.
Centering rings are the little rings that slip inside the centerbore of the rim to match the universal center to the wheels to the centerbore on the car. You need them.
As far as locks... you need a key. If all you need is a breaker bar then they're regular lugnuts. They're torqued on to 80 ft-lbs and arent always the easiest things to remove. Also make sure you have the lug nuts that fit the wheels. You shouldn't be using the stock lugs, that could also be a vibration problem because they're probably not seated properly on the wheel.
