EDITED:are these hot or not? this time, the konig traffiks.

hot or not?

hey at 124 a wheel on discount tired direct, they're not bad.
they're about 17.6 pounds each. i know it's not incredibly light but my sedan's a daily driver.

the point of me purchasing wheels would be for performance. looks are a definate yes, but i don't want super sexy and expensive wheels -- they'll just attract a theif or vandal.

oh, 5 spoke are ok but 7 or 8 spoke are even better in my opinion. i think sedans look better in single spoke rims.
thanks for the help.

OKOK you dont like the enkei's what about the traffiks???

i have always been attracted to them, but i didn't know they were 134 each... and weigh under 15 pounds. what do YOU guys thinkof these?

Cheap light 8 spokes available in 16" that I can think of... Rota Circuit 8... its the Mugen copy or Konig Helium... Volk CE28N copies.

Those wheels, no, I personally don't like the RS5 or 6. The spokes curve out so much, they're beyond the lip of the rim, sometimes the tire too. Just not my taste.

Enkeis in general... yah, they're good wheels. Thought about RPM2s for a while.

I would go for the Heliums...I like those wheels! I really don't like a lot from Konig or Enkei. Probably because I see them everyday. We sell tons of them.

RS Limited has some nice looking, low priced wheels. I was thinking about buying a set of their 15s.

As for the RS5s...nah. Not my style.

5Zigen FN01R-C
15 lbs for 16"

May also want to look for:
Stern Aguzze S07, also 15 lbs... but might have been discontinued, not sure.

Rota Grids (TE37 copy), 16 lbs.

<1lb/inch is what I consider to be light... so thats about it as far as affordability goes. Most of the rest are pretty high end wheels.

great advice you guys. um any more suggestions are welcome. i figure to go with wheel and audio mods since i would like to keep my warrantee with honda without problems.

boilermaker... those 5zigens are oook, they wouldnt look good on a sedan. the others are kinda blocky. but i will look into the heliums if i can. i know they dont come in 16"s but i will see. i don't want to drop my ride 'cause of warrantee (as mentioned before), so i dont want a huge wheels gap on my car with 17"s....

They're copies of Advan RG's... my 2nd favorite rim (Work Meister S2 is #1)... and if you're on a budget, $134 is better than the $360 for the Advans.

I really like the Traffiks alot, I think the style is very clean and simple but is very interesting at the same time. I like the exposed center also, it gives it the real race wheel look.

No problem... I spent 10 months looking at wheels before I bought my OZs... I think I've seen every wheel in production, and a bunch that are discontinued and still floating around too.

Here's a bad chop of the Advans when I was looking...

You might want to search here or in members rides for Black Racing Pro N1... its another copy of the RG, and DC5@EM2 has Traffiks (or he did... I think the offset was wrong because of the ITR Brembos and he got something else) Go to www.hondawerx.com and click the swap car.

yeah i remember that car. gregs the man (who runs the site. i know that's not his ride with the traffiks).

for the past like 5 months i have been looking on and off. now i am back to taking things seriously and finding wheels. before i wanted bolt on mods, but now im concerned with my warrantee..... so i figure to go for wheels. i have narrow down my search relatively soon. i am not someone who'll buy anything on the drop of a dime.

anyways. money's a big factor. i want something light, low key, and inexpensive. i figure 16"s would give me an advantage, but 17"s are still being considered. i mean, i don't want to look like i off-road with my sedan with my stock suspension.

Why not 18s?

I am thinking about getting 18" Enkei RS5s with 215/40/18 tires. Why not go big?

Cheers,
ChiZX
