Question Tire question...

Hey there. We have a lot of potholes here, so I'm only going to be using the stock 15" wheels that come on the Si. I was just wondering if upgrading from P185-65-HR15 to P205-60-HR15 pose any major issues? Since it has roughly the same diameter, it shouldn't affect the speedo, right? Also, will the 205's with their wider tread rub in the fender well? Thanks

SlammedBlueEM2 is on a distinguished road
205-60-15 is good.

On the road, you would have to run over a curb goin 25MPH to even phase the wheel with that sized tire.

Yup, thanks guys. I actually did look at the Tire Calculator, and 205/60-15 is PLUS ZERO, but I was just wondering if it would rub, but I'm guessing if those sizes are mentioned they work fine... Thanks

yes, even 215 wont rub but are u sure u can put 205 tires on the stock Si wheels? (7th gen or 6th gen), i think the 7th gen rims can only fit 195

Yeah see that's another thing I was going to ask, what is the widest tire the stock Si/EX rims can take? And yes, it's a 7th gen Si/EX.

So does anyone know the dimensions of the stock 15" Si/EX rims?
