nitto nt450????

Well I just got some rota slipsteams with some nitto nt450's and I did I search and found that most people are not to fond of these. Are they really that bad. I have Nankang tires now on my 18s and god damn they are the worst tires ever. I mean I am def taking a step up from nankang to nitto. Why is everyone saying this stuff about this tire is it that bad because then i will change my order. I always thought nitto to be a good tire. I just want a good reliable tire that will last and has decent traction in the rain and snow, I am not trying to go autocrossing or anything.

Nitto 450s are good. Nankangs are generic crap tires.

Only bad thing I've heard about Nittos is noise. 450 is actually good for a performance tire in rain/snow...but why would you want to leave your rims on in the snow?

I"ve got nitto's on my rims now. First time i've ever had them. I can't say much about them as far as "in the long run" goes. But I can tell you that they are a pretty smooth ride (especially for being 18") I've even had other people comment on their smoothness when they have been in my car. Hope that helps.

I had nt450's on my older car. They were really smooth and lasted me about 2 1/2 years (sorry don't remember the mileage...). Really good tires, I don't think I would have ever called them noisy. My friend had these also and he liked them too.

I have the NT-450's and have had NT-555's, I liked the 555's better but either one are just fine.
