rim question

im most likely goin to the track next saturday. rite now i have 18s on the car. my question is should i just but the stock 15s on the front or should i put all four on. i want to get the fastest time possible.

Why don't ya weigh it and find out? your sport tire probably weigh from 20lb+ and rims probably 20+ too. that's 40lb+ per wheels. steelie weigh 14lb+ and tires weight about 20lb+ do the math.

by the way.....in SCCA, no one drives WRX with 18s to do tracks. we run on 17s and plus 17s allows big brake kit. 18 and 19 oversize wheels are more for show......no to race with.....unless you can get some hella light aluminum wheels.

Yeah, they can slow the performance of the car. It also depends on the weight too. If you're going for 18's, get racing rims. They are more expensive, but they are only like 14lbs.

yeah hopefully the weather will be good enough to race. i should have a 50 shot nitrous kit by next saturday. i wanna be my friends 1.8t jetta. hopefully
