ebc redstuff brakes
these are track brakes, and i know i shouldnt be running them on normal streets, but it says they have medium life. how long is that?

Um, It depends on how hard you are on the brakes.
EBC red suff is a good pad, but it doesn't have that much better grip then stock. Plus they work much better when they are warm (it is stable at over 750 Degrees F.), so they are about as good as stock when they are cold. If you want much better stopping power switch to the GREEN stuff. It has a much higher Coefficient of Friction then both EBC's Red Stuff and STOCK. and it is stable at 650 Degrees F.
with normal street braking, you will never get your brakes up to these temps (Mounain driving excluded). on the track, Road race not drag, Either will do well on our cars. but in autocross, you would be better off with the Green stuff. Better initial cold bite, and much higher Coefficient of Friction.
