Tire Wear

I just got my hands on some 17" rims and my car is lowered 2". I have no camber kit and i was wondering if anyone knows how long my tires in the rear will last with out the kit. On average i put on 40-60 miles a day.

Mine lasted 10,000-11,000 miles

Once they set up that extreme pattern of wear to the inside of the tread, my brand of tires (Dunlop) were incredibly LOUD. Also I didn't want to rotate them because then I would be screwing up all 4 tires instead of just 2!

After my ugly experience, IMHO you would be better off waiting until you can pay $125 for the camber kit before putting on the new rims/tires

I guess the actual answer to your question is 6 months to 1 year
