Mine are 37, but I wouldn't recommend it if you want to drop the car very far. Stick to the 40-45 range, but 40-42 would be best.

Woah... 235 is a bit wide. I'd stick to 215/35. 235 is gonna give you problems. If you're looking for tires that wide, you'll have to push the offset out into the high 20's-low 30's range and go to an 8" wide rim, and that will stick out a lot.

ya anywhere from +40-+45 is fine. i run +42 18x7" 215-40-18 on neuspeed sports, not problems at all.
i wish i would have gone with 225-35-18 tho. 215-35-18 is a lil too thin, 215-40-18 a lil too thick, 225-35-18 sounds perfect.

225-40-18 is too thick.. thickest i would go is 215-45-18
225-40-18 works with stock suspension, might rub a little tho. definitely NO for lowered cars...
17s i think 205-45-17 is perfect.. 205-40-17 is just way too thin and 215-45-17 too thick

i dont think they make 205-40-18. 215-45-18 is kinda thick..
i would say 215-40-18. thats what i have. kinda thick but 215-35-18 is a lil too thin for daily drivers...
i would recommend 225-35-18 but i dont want you to blame me if it rubs. thats what i personally would go with if i replace my tires tho..

Those are way to big IMO. I would not put anything over 215-*-17 on my car. Remember the bigger the rim with the more torque is required to spin the wheel. Honda's don't have alot of torque. IMO those wheels will slow you down alot and cause bad gas mileage. With 35 profile tire you will be almost riding on the rim, you'll need to be careful around potholes and railroad crossings.
Ok I just read what Bogus1 had just wrote.
So 18's are a little big for the Civic?
17's are better?
So what would be the Ideal size for a 2k1 LX Coupe. 17's or 18's
And what measurements would be good

ok so if i go with 17s...i want toyo tires...and the style i want don't come with 205-45-17...and the rims i want are 17x7. So will 205-40-17 or 215-40-17 work with 17x7inch rims? And the rim offset is 40...will that be fine?

17s? so small.. even my 18s are small... should go with 19s...
both size tires work with 17s. but imo 205-40-17 is way too thin go with 215-40-17. or 205-45-17
215 is the wide of the tire in mm
40 is the percent of the sidewall compared to the width in other words. 40% of 215 is 86mm

I like the Motegi Racing MR7's. If I get those I'll prolly get 18's. They are 18x7.5 and offset is +45. Will that work pretty good? Recommended tire size for this wheel?
