Question Spacers for RIMS???????

Whats up guys?

I just put my rims back on my car a few weeks ago. I am noticing a vibration around 60mph. There were spacers on the wheels, but they broke. I am not sure what size they were. I got the tires balanced, so its not that.

I have Enkei Rs6's they are 18"s. Anyone have any ideas? Let me know!!!!!!

Thanks

They probably weren't spacers. Spacers move the wheel further out from the wheel hub. They probably were centering rings. No centering rings would explain the vibration. You need to get them back in there. Call Discount Tire or someone else who sells Enkei rims and ask them what size is needed and where to get them.

Spacers are junk. You shouldn't need them in the first place.

Make sure you have hub-centering rings on all four wheels, and have them re-balanced. Ask for a dynamic tape weight balance. Unless you have a bent rim, that should take care of any wheel vibrations you may have.

Another possibility is that you have a tread seperation.

Take it to a reputable tire shop and have them do the work.

Have you gotten an alignment on your car recently? Try that.
