This may seem stupid

While cleaning my wheels, I realized that I had curbed one of my rims.

The question: I was wondering if there was anyway to fix this? I know there is no way to make it perfect and look brand new again, but is there any way to make is look less noticable?

Thanks.

CivicVTec is an unknown quantity at this point
depending on how bad the damage is. if its big, it will probably be cheaper to just get a new rim

Its not really too bad, just a little bit rough on the lip. Its maybe 3 inches long.

depends on the finish. if its powder coated, your going to have to paint it. if its polished, you can try to to sand it.
or you can always take it to a wheel repair shop. i personally would just live with it. it happens its like a dent/ding, its part of having a car.

Its polished, so I guess I'll give sanding it a try. If it doesnt work, I'll just live with it. Like you said, its part of owning a car.

Refinishing costs about $100 where I live from what I'm told.

I've heard it's cheaper to buy a new rim then to fix one.
