wanna fill the gap...

With a 2" drop (Intrax) on a 02 coupe, will 17's with 215/40/17 fill up the gap, or will I need to go with 18's to fill it up? Also, I don't want to have to worry about them rubbing. Any sugg. are appreciated.

You will definatly not have a gap with drop.
Just roll the rear fender to be sure that they don't rub the side wall if you use a camber kit.
You might rub in other places though with that drop and 18's. You can use a old wood bat and roll it between the inner fender lip and tire until it is rolled up.

My concept car.

Yup. The last time I saw those things, it was on an old Maxima, er... Minima.

Back to the point.. yes it will fill the gap. But you will definately need a camber kit. Well, unless you like uneven tire wear and replacing them more often than you should have to.

I'd go with 215/40/17 and you shouldn't have a problem.
