widest wheel?

widest wheel?

what is the widest wheel we can fit on the front w/o it scraping the car with normal tires? and im sure the back can be wider since it dosent turn. anyone know?

Well.... how much offset do you want?? You can go as wide as you want provided you can keep the wheel from getting too far in. I would think with an offset in the mid 20s you could fit 9" rims on. They'd stick out like hell, but they would fit. I think 7.5" is the widest you're going to want to go... any more than that and you'll probably run into problems.

the widest you can go is 215 I had 16 225 and had severe rubbing as well as in the back. I had to dremal the inch fold in the rear fender so my tires fit. I also rubbed to the metal engin frame on the inside front and rubbed away the clamp thingies on the edge of the front wells that hold on the spalsh guard.

215 is as whide as it gets!

In the rear, 215 will rub just as much. Providing the car is low enough.

Yeah you might be right. 205 for sure becuase my rear is lower then the tire (no gap) and i am fine with 205s

215 fits fine, and I have a 7.5 inch rim with 45 offset and fits perfect. I dont think u can fit any wider in that wheel wheel. My rims stick out more than the tire does, and i have no wheel gap all round and have never had any problems with rubbage. I think 225 will be the biggest you can fit.

yea, i just want regular 15s, like stock, but i want wider - cause wider is better
