Wheel alignment problems

I've got a 2001 Civic 1.7 Vtec with no modifications. The car has always pulled left a lot with wheel alignment problems and the steering wheel never run perfectly central. Honda service centers have always blamed the crappy original tires.

After months of headaches with Honda, I changed the bad tires through Bridgestone who also balanced and aligned the wheels perfectly to Hondas specifications, but the problem remained. Bridgestone say they cannot align the wheel outside of the Honda Specifications or the tires will wear out quickly and unevenly again.

Hondas customer relations manager just smiled and said my car was normal or maybe he's blind. Please Help!!!

I would bring it to a well known respectable alignment shop and have them check EVERYTHING. After getting a car aligned with new tires no problem should occur if they know what they are doing. When you bring it for an alignment make sure your tire pessure is to factory specs too.

Bridgstone head office fitted, balanced and aligned the new tires. They assured me that they have checked to Hondas specifications.

Well, it's almost impossible to get a steering wheel in ahonda perfectly aligned. You can get darn close and one should be considered lucky if it's dead on.

Sounds like the pulling problem could be related to the steering box or whatever it is called. Heck, I don't why. My wife's accord pulls a little to the left and has since we bought it. Dealer couldn't find any problem nor could another alignment shop and everything is w/i spec. Haven't had any uneven tire wear so we have just let it go.

My car doesn't just pull left a little it's a lot. This is an on going problem with my Honda, it ruined my old tires, so I've got to get the problem sorted fast or my new tires will go the same way. Honda don't give a hoot.

did you hit something at a high speed? I did on mine and it messed up the caster specs. I had to take it to a body shop to have the frame bent back. Mine pulled to the right really hard.

Nup, I'm a pretty steady driver and I've had the car from new. Honda technicans are the ones who have messed it up over the past year.
