7.5 is the biggest. when i had my 18's with 225/40 tires i rubbed the inside of my fire wall when i turn my steering wheel all the way left or right. now i have some marks on the inner wall...
rim inches = perfect size for tire
6.5 = 205
7.0 = 215
7.5 = 225
i wouldn't go over 225/35 on 18's or 19's. i think that is the perfect size

Rep Power: 0 So 18 X 8 wheels will not work on our cars? Victoria Tires & Wheels say that it will with 215/40/18 tires but that doesn't sound right to me. I've always heard 18 X 7.5 is the largest wheel we should go with.
